Eglė Žiedelytė was born in Kaunas, Lithuania and is a graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts in Vilnius, Lithuania (now the Academy of Fine Arts).  She now resides in the United States.

Through the years the Eglė Žiedelytė’s paintings have been exhibited in group and personal shows in Lithuania, Germany, and the United States.   Her artworks are in private collections in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and the United States.

 

The subjects of Eglė Žiedelytė’s artworks vary from figurative compositions, portraits, cityscapes, and landscapes to abstract works painted in somber hues and rich colors that reflect on artist’s impressions of native land mixed with constant changing surroundings.
